Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to update you on the aging network, as there have been exciting changes take place with our new administration. Last week I had the pleasure of attending a reception for Kathy Greenlee in Washington, D.C. who is our new Assistant Secretary for the Administration on Aging. It is an honor to have Assistant Secretary Greenlee leading the Administration on Aging, as she has demonstrated an exceptional record and extensive experience in working first-hand in the aging field. She previously served as the Secretary of the Kansas Department of Aging, the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman in Kansas, as well as the state’s Assistant Secretary of Aging, with the responsibilities of legislative liaison and chief budget officer.
